It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real get-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. nothing should be able to do that. Especially not love.
8 Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.
9 Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. There have been lots of ups and downs, but ultimately at the
end of the day, that's what makes you who you are. We all know how to
laugh, we all know how to cry, we all know how to love back, and we're
all familier with heartbreak, but the world keeps moving and we keep
moving with it and everything we experience helps us realize how
beautiful life really is.
It's the people you hug and never want to let go. The people you
haven't seen in years, but they haven't changed at all. The people who
give more to you than you give to them. The people who truly understand
who you are. The people you cry about. The ones you live for. It's the
people in your photographs with genuine light shining through their

| one don't send me mixed signals, i don't like the confusion that it
brings. i'd rather have the honest truth, even if it hurts because then
i won't be wasting my time depending on false hope to keep me hanging
on.
two have you ever had to choose between two people? especially when
the one you choose is going to be the one you'll be with, and the one
you don't just might not be the same anymore when you see them? the
decision had to be made somehow, but you just don't know what to do.
one gets along with your friends, but you feel more comfortable around
the other. one makes you smile and can talk about almost anything with
them, but you realize that you simply just have much stronger feelings
for the other. how many times have your friends told you to just follow
your heart, yet they tell you who to pick anyways? no matter how hard
you wanted to decide who to pick, you just couldn't seem to make a
choice. you eventually stress yourself out about this. there's only one
thing you can do though. you make them wait. obviously right now you
can't determine who you have stronger feelings for, so why not make
them wait and see who has stronger feelings for you? whoever really
truly believes they can be with you obviously likes you a lot and is
willing to wait for you.
three you can hide a lot about yourself. you can hide embarrassment, you
can hide anger, and you can even hide shame. but you can't hide a smile.
four the most important thing in life is to find yourself. know who
you are at all times, and stand by that for the rest of your life.
five when i was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was
the key to life. when i went to school, they asked me what i wanted to
be when i grew up. i wrote down "happy" they told me i didn't
understand the assignment, & i told them they didn't understand
life.
six tell your family you love them everyday, give your best friend
the biggest hug in the world, and cherish every moment you share with
your lover, because you never know when it will be your last time
experiencing it.
seven how can you move on if you are still living in the past? snd how
can you step forward, leaving the past behind, if you can't even begin
to forgive what the past holds? how can you love someone for who they
are, yet want to hate them for what they've done? i guess that's what
it boils down to is this - there are always those defining moments,
times that makes us or breaks us, build us or tear us apart, help us
progress further or stop us dead in our tracks. and for whichever way
we may choose, there's a consequence of equal value. it's a true test
of what we stand for, where we came from, &where we are going.
these are moments that we live for, breathe for, & fight for. these
are the defining moments that leave imprints forever in our hearts,
making our souls forever. these are choices that could bring you one
step closer to forever or leaving you hostage to the past. i guess in
order to move on from the past you must learn to forgive it. and
forgiving may mean letting go.
we don't remember days; we remember moments.
